PRECISION COMPUTERS: LIMITED WARRANTY ON REPAIRS (LABOR & PARTS)
This Limited Warranty applies to repair services performed by Precision Computers and is subject to the terms below.
Warranty Coverage
Hardware Repair Labor Warranty (90 Days):
Precision Computers warrants that all labor performed for hardware repairs will be free from defects for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of service completion.
Hardware Parts Warranty (1 Year):
Any hardware parts supplied and installed by Precision Computers are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion, limited to defects in the part under normal use.
Virus and Malware Removal Limited Warranty (30 Days):
Virus and malware removal services are covered by a limited thirty (30) day warranty from the date of service completion.
This warranty applies only to the persistence of the same virus or malware infection that the original service was intended to remove. If the original infection is determined to have not been fully removed, Precision Computers will perform another removal service at no additional labor cost within the 30-day period.
This warranty does not cover:
• New infections of a different nature occurring after the service has been completed
• Reinfection due to user activity, including but not limited to downloading files, installing software, opening email attachments, or visiting malicious websites
• Systems where recommended security measures (such as antivirus software, operating system updates, or safe browsing practices) have not been maintained
Due to the nature of malware and external threats, Precision Computers does not guarantee that a system will remain free from future infections after service completion.
Warranty Conditions
This warranty applies only if the device experiences the same issue that the original repair or service was intended to resolve.
To qualify for warranty service:
• The device must not have been altered, opened, or serviced by any third party after the original repair or service
• The issue must not be caused by new damage, misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, power surges, environmental factors, or (in the case of virus/malware services) reinfection
• The device must be returned to Precision Computers for inspection and verification of the issue
What This Warranty Covers
At our discretion, Precision Computers will:
• Re-perform defective hardware repair labor at no cost within 90 days
• Repair or replace defective hardware parts within 1 year. Customer only pays for labor.
• Re-perform virus or malware removal service within 30 days if the original infection persists
What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover:
• New or unrelated issues
• Software problems, viruses, or operating system corruption unless explicitly part of the original service (see Virus and Malware Removal Limited Warranty above)
• Data loss or recovery (see original agreement)
• Physical damage, including drops, liquid damage, or electrical damage
• Issues caused by user negligence, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or reinfection
• Consumable components (such as batteries) unless otherwise stated
Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of Indiana:
• This warranty is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of defective labor or parts as outlined above
• Precision Computers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or loss of use
• Total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original amount paid for the repair service
Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty applies only to the original customer and is non-transferable.
No Other Warranties
Except as expressly stated herein, Precision Computers disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted under Indiana law.
Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana.
